Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts, Senate President M. Teresa Paiva Weed, and Former U.S. Rep. Robert Weygand are considering running for the 1st Congressional District seat vacated by Rep. Kennedy.  If they choose to run, they would join already-announced candidates Democrats Bill Lynch and David Cicilline as well as Republican John Loughlin.

On a flight back from the Vancouver Olympics, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney was threatened by a fellow passenger after asking the man to move up the back of his seat.  The disgruntled passenger was escorted from the plane, while Romney took home the gold medal in avoiding getting punched by crazy people.

Police recently charged a Charlestown couple for possession of a cache of drugs and firearms that included “53 marijuana plants, 21 grams of cocaine, a SKS Norinco assault rifle, a Remington 700 sniper rifle and a Remington 870 shotgun, all loaded.”
