When Doreen Costa was driving around Rhode Island trying to rally support against the health care overhaul, she stopped at U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin’s house. Langevin — who invited Costa in — is the only member of the RI delegation who is not a clear supporter of the bill. Langevin’s pro-life stance makes support problematic, given that the final bill may not contain the strict language he voted for in the Stupak Amendment.

The body of Gregory Hart, the 23 year-old University of Massachusetts Amherst alum who went missing Sunday morning, was found Tuesday in the Woonasquatucket River. Police are treating Hart’s death as a homicide and his family is offering a reward for information that would implicate suspects.

Rhode Island neighbor Massachusetts reported a 9.5 percent jobless rate for February. The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, which produced the report, noted job increases in the education, health services and trade, transportation and utilities sectors.  The report also showed an increase of 6000 in the Massachusetts labor force from January.
