Warm weather sets a record

Temperatures in the upper 60s today busted the 1927 record for March 19 in Providence. We don’t want to jinx things for everyone — just wanted to point out how lucky we are while it lasts.

Ratty: Vegan Tofu Ravioli, Pork Teriyaki, Basmati Rice Pilaf, Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

V-Dub: Grilled Cajun Chicken, Vegan Mediterranean Stew, Vegan Brown Rice Pilaf

Advantage: V-Dub. Grilled Cajun Chicken shares two words with Cajun Chicken Pasta.

Dinner:
Ratty: Cheese and Corn Strata, Roast Turkey with Gravy, Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake

V-Dub: Vegetarian or Ham Fried Rice Bowls, Pasta Spinach Casserole, Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake

Advantage: V-Dub. It's never been strata-gic to opt for Strata ... That had to be done.

My average winter break wake-up time was...
- 7 am ... I had a winternship. Didn't everybody?
- 9 am ... My mom made me go with her to yoga class everyday. #Namaste
- 11 am ... Totally reasonable, right? It's called winter vacation.
- 1 pm ... Okay, so the term "lazy fat ass" may have been thrown around by certain parental figures.
- 3 pm or later ... I averaged about an hour of daylight each day, but was usually too busy playing Temple Run to notice.
