The Brown Mock Trial team has started a little (not so secret) tradition: “Mockapella.”  The time and location of the next show is still to-be-announced, but their newest arrangement of Erasure’s “Always” has been making waves in the Brown community after Mock’s debut show on March 12th.

Erasure’s 1994 album I Say, I Say, I Say gained popularity when “Always” hit the top 20 list on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.  Sixteen years later, the band started to gain traction again when “Always” was featured in the online game “Robot Unicorn Attack,” the internet sensation that gave the Mockapellas the inspiration for their arrangement.  If you see a mechanical unicorn jumping over stars on the laptop screen in front of you in your POLS section on Monday, you’ll now know why.  Just be advised: once you start playing, it is impossible to stop.  Just ask this blogger.
