Kicking and screaming

After much anticipation, The Herald and the College Hill Independent took to Pembroke Field with sneakers on, face paint applied and guns blazing. In nine innings and just under two hours, The Herald showed what game is all about … kicking things off right, the game stood at 9-0 after the first inning, thanks to power kickers, home runs and an excess of competitive spirit.

With only a few disputes, all settled in a gentlemanly manner, the game concluded with a final score of 18-16. The all-time record now stands at 7-3 (well, 8-3 if we count the rain forfeit…).

The Herald salutes the Indy; we’ll see you next semester. Start your batting practice now.
