Bake some scones!

Brown Faculty Club’s Executive Chef Dave Chabot recently revealed to the ProJo his scone recipe. Give it a try!

An interesting twist is his advice to mix in the butter “using a cheese grater.” An inspired tip we should share with Paula Deen or something best undertaken with an electric mixer instead?

    No, I’ve seen the cheese grater tip elsewhere, including a King Arther Flour cookbook. It works best if you freeze the butter first- makes it much easier to grate. I don’t know the science behind it, but it definitely inproves my scones!
