Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

This isn’t just silly-faced pumpkins for kids; it’s art. This sculpture display of famous characters and celebrities, running until Halloween, has the acclaim of the U.S. Library of Congress and USA Today. It’s about a 20 minute bus ride from Kennedy Plaza. Take bus 20 in the direction of T.F. Green Airport and get off at Elmwood Ave.

Rocky Horror Picture Show

If you’ve never yelled “That man has no neck!” at a screen or done the time warp with a bunch of transvestites, it’s about time you lost your Rocky Horror virginity. Get free Kabob and Curry and support Nourish International.

National Coming Out Week Speech: Sex Positivity and Pride

6:30-7:45 P.M., MacMillan 115

What does it mean to be sex positive? Sex educator Charlie Glickman PhD will talk about issues surrounding sexual shame and normalization and how to encourage freedom of expressing sexual identity.

Speakeasy Sessions, 5th Edition

BCA kicks off this year’s speakeasy sessions  with an exciting lineup of student and guest bands, musicians and DJs.

And time for the obscure holiday of the day: National Feral Cat Day. I don’t make this stuff up: today’s the day to help stray cats in your neighborhood and nationwide!
