Game of the Week
The Men’s Ice Hockey team plays host to a pair of tough conference opponents in #13 Union College and #16 RPI. After two big games against ranked teams (#6 New Hampshire and #2 Boston University, both ending in ties: 5-5 (OT) and 4-4 (OT), respectively), the team has started to gain recognition in the national polls. The team must carry their recent success into this weekend, a weekend that could greatly improve their standing in the ECAC. The team’s first win on home ice would surely be a great segue into the Mayor’s Cup against Providence College on December 7th, and considering the high-power offense of the last few games (averaging 4.00 goals per game in their last three games) the team is poised for a big victory.

Coming off a dismal shooting performance against Hartford, the Men’s Basketball team starts a stint of away games traveling to Maine and playing against cross-town rival, Providence College. The team needs to bounce back for a win against Maine (currently allowing…) before playing against Providence College, who is off to a hot start this year in Providence (7-0 at home). The game between PC and Brown will be held at the Dunkin Donuts Center downtown.

This weekend the Women’s Basketball Team hosts the Brown BEAR Classic, and has two challenging games against Providence College and the University of Florida. The Women’s Basketball Team hasn’t had great success on the road so far (Road: 1-4), but playing on their home court, they look to change their fortunes and finish the weekend strong.
