The Men’s Basketball Team seemingly has two sides, considering the Men’s Team defeated the Ivy League’s first place team, Princeton, but dropped a game against the UPenn, 4-4 in Ivy play, a day earlier. The team will need to bring out its best game when facing Harvard and can’t sleep on Dartmouth either. This weekend will be the team’s last home games and it will be Senior Night during the game against Dartmouth.

Coming off a tough weekend away from the Pitz, the Women’s Basketball Team needs a spark to end its away portion of the schedule on a high note. Luckily, the Women’s Team has already defeated both of this weekend’s opponents. In fact, the Women’s Team is 3-1 this season against its next four opponents.
Men’s Ice Hockey

In the last weekend before the ECAC Hockey Tournament, the Brown Men’s Ice Hockey team welcomes two difficult opponents to the Meehan Coliseum. The Men’s Team hopes to repeat its performances against Cornell and Colgate earlier in the season, which both resulted in wins. A home playoff games in the ECAC tournament is still at stake, so any points this weekend will be important to Brown.
Men’s Lacrosse (Pre-Season Ranking: #19)

The Men’s Lacrosse Team opens the season at home against the Quinnipiac Bobcats. After last season’s close losses, including the game against the national champion Duke Blue Devils, and an exit in the Ivy League Tourney Semifinals, the Brown Men’s Lacrosse Team starts their 2011 campaign against a number of non-conference opponents, including an away game in Durham. Building on the top-25 preseason ranking, the Brown Men’s Team will be competing with some of the best teams in the nation.

Although the Brown Women’s Lacrosse Team ended its 2010 season with a rough series, a strong Senior class supported by a promising Freshman class are on track to have a successful 2011 season. Similar to the Men’s Team, the Women’s Lacrosse Team starts the season against a number of non-conference opponents.
