Join the Archaeology department to hear Jordan Pickett, a doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania, give a talk entitled “The Transformation of Baths as Sculptural and Epigraphic Environment During Late Antiquity: Regional Comparisons.” Free pizza and soda will be provided.
The End of Cultural Isolation: A delicious and informative Royce Panel

Evan Pelz ’11, Rosalie Elkinton ‘11.5 and Susannah Kroeber ’11 will present the research that they performed as part of the Royce Fellowship. Free Ethiopian, Georgian, Russian, and Chinese food will be provided. What a steal! The talk sounds interesting, too – the students speaking will be discussing how their research relates to “issues of cultural fusion, change, and issues of transmission and preservation.”
