Adjunct Lecturer of Education, and Brown alum, passes away

We regret to report that Adjunct Lecturer of Education, and Brown alum, Kolajo Paul Afolabi ’03 passed away yesterday morning, according to an email from the Education Department Chair Kenneth Wong.  Afolabi, a doctoral candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, was teaching two education classes this fall on Brown’s campus: EDUC1160: Evaluating the Impact of Social Programs and EDUC2350:Economics of Education II.  He earned his BA with Honors in Public Policy at Brown in 2003 and had been working on his dissertation at Harvard on college access.
