Making Mondays Better: Orange Pulp Fiction

Chicken fingers at the Ratty and an afternoon quickie both have the ability to make Mondays better. But for those of you who are either off meal plan or who would rather wait until WhisCo Wednesday to boogie down, BlogDailyHerald introduces Making Mondays Better – a new column where you can find a YouTube playlist of the newest and hottest tracks in the music scene at the start of each week. While great for Mondays, it’s also useful for when you need to crank out a last minute paper because you spent too much time tweeting about Ashton Kutcher’s tweets — how meta.

Move over Spotify. What started as a small pet project in the basement of my YouTube channel has now graduated into a BlogDailyHerald column. I started this campaign in August, sending weekly emails to some buddies to show them the newest hip hop tracks released over the week. Fully aware that not everyone enjoys bumping to Justin Bieber’s freestyle rap sessions, I started incorporating the latest dubstep, mashup, electronic, indie, and R&B tracks into the playlist as well. After growing the email list to a healthy 150+ listeners, it became clear that there was only one move left – #OccupyBlogDH.

To get started off right, hit the playlist below! If you’re more selective, view the genre breakouts. And if you really wanna impress your friends, check out the Playlist Discography – a list of all the playlists from each week to date.
