Cheer your hearts out: Saturday, 11/19

Sheila Dixon '13 and the rest of the w. basketball squad are searching for the first win of the season.

The men’s soccer team defeated the Fairfield Stags 3-2 Thursday night after being down 2-0 in the first round of the NCAA tournament. It looked pretty bleak for Bruno, but the Bears showed a lot of heroics in the last 20 minutes or so to score three unanswered goals.
This is why we cheer — to make sure that our teams never give up! Because comebacks thrill us! And because at Brown, we’re always the underdogs! (Underbears! Whatever!)
So why don’t you go to the home basketball games this weekend and cheer your hearts out? Here are the only home games this weekend:

Saturday, November 19

Men’s basketball takes on Hartford at 5pm. Maybe the Bears lost their two games at the NIT Tip-Off because those games weren’t at home and they didn’t have fans to love them.

Women’s basketball takes the court after its male counterpart at 7:30pm, tipping off against the University of Albany.

The rest of your adorable, silly Bears will be roaming around some other school’s woods. Cheer for them in your hearts, especially those sports you never really remember we have– like squash and men’s crew.
