While perusing the BrownU subreddit this morning, I came across this video explaining how to find academic articles using the library’s online resources.  The video features weirdly enthusiastic acting by two presumable students (one of whom may or may not have starred in the movie Fanboys) cracking jokes about MySpace (Why? — this was filmed in 2009…and yet it was outdated even then) and sharing in the joys of discovering all the Brown Library has to offer.  Also, be sure to check out the other bizarre videos featuring creepy sci-fi themed library self promotions, a floating Darrell West and a man in a yellow shirt explaining the origins of the name Josiah.

These are incredible. Especially considering the Darrell West one was nominated for “best Library Video in the category of Best Acting – Non-Librarian.”
