As the Brown Concert Agency announced yesterday (via Facebook), they want your help in selecting the acts for the Fall 2012 concert!  As a means of weeding out the “ZOMG TAYLOR SWIFFFFFTTTT”-esque responses, the BCA extensively researched artists and put together a list of five totally realistic and totally awesome choices for you to pick from.  BCA will make the winner of this poll its top priority in its booking efforts (Important Note: top priority does not necessarily mean booking is guaranteed; if that were the case, we would have been given the bizness last fall).  The concert will take place on Saturday, September 15.

Our poll will be up until this Wednesday night (June 20), so be sure to vote for your favorite artist/group (and tell all of your friends to vote too!). Sample music from these truly impressive choices after the jump to help you make an informed decision.

Big Freedia:

(Deeper cuts: “Na Who Mad” & “Excuse”)

Black Lips:

(Deeper cuts: “O Katrina!” & “Family Tree”)

Neon Indian:

(Deeper cuts: “Sleep Paralysist” & “Terminally Chill”)

No Age:

(Deeper cuts: “Fever Dreaming” & “Losing Feeling”)

Titus Andronicus:

(Deeper cuts: “A More Perfect Union” & “No Future Part Three: Escape From No Future”)

Five “totally awesome” choices, yet for every one I still have to ask, “who on earth is that?”. What kind of people have actually heard of the bands BSA likes?

@Rock Fan, I always have that same problem. Who the hell knows any of these bands. I dabble in indie music, but christ, I’d rather just see students from the university have a battle of the bands than watch some band I never heard of and will never hear again. Also, blogdailyherald has an annoying tendancy to like EVERYTHING that BSA suggest. Is blogdailyherald afraid to critize BSA? Hell they even clamoured about how great Diddy was as a choice. Come on Blog, pull BSA’s d!ck out of your mouth and start writing some stuff that isn’t sugar coated propoganda.
