Have Commanders-in-Chief ever been truly cool? Have they ever inspired millions of Americans to give up the funk? Have they had their faces plastered on lamppost signs asking you if you’ve “seen this cat”? Most would say no, that the high-strung, slowly-going-gray leaders of our fearless nation are basically stone-faced monarchs who are visible only in moments of scripted glory or agonizing awkwardness.
But those people are wrong.
Bill Clinton played the saxophone. And here you were thinking his DNC speech was the high point of his career…
