On January 19th-21st, the Brown Conversation is hosting a game-changing event: Re-Orientation. The second annual edition of Re-Orientation will take place at the end of winter break and is designed to help current freshmen and sophomores find new, educational meaning in their Brown experience.
Through insightful discussion and various programs and events, professors, alums, administrators, and upperclassmen will provide insight into questions about aspects of the Brunonian experience, including grading, concentrations, and the value of learning. If you’re a thinker who needs a little push to find your way through the next couple of years, then Re-Orientation is for you.
According to the Brown Conversation’s mission statement, Re-Orientation “is an intensive three-day program created to encourage underclassmen to reevaluate their undergraduate experience. The program combines conversation, individual mentorship, and self-reflection to promote creative, productive thoughts about life at Brown and beyond.”
Applications for the program became available here last Sunday and are due December 1st. Brown Conversation asks each participant to pay $10 to cover the cost of really good food.
