Marjorie Thompson, Associate Dean of Biological Sciences, passes away

As reported by the Brown Daily Herald, Associate Dean of Biological Sciences Marjorie Thompson passed away Monday afternoon while on leave from the University. Thompson ’74 Ph.D’79 was highly regarded among students and faculty and will be missed dearly.

    I only knew Marjorie as a teacher at the Fur Peace Ranch, and from attending many of her concerts. She was a wonderful guitarist, and teacher of guitar. Sharp wit, wry sense of humor, and a friendly, outgoing soul. She touched so may…I’ll miss her
