Ivan Watson (Brown IR ’97) will speak about his experiences and describe how he went from studying at Brown to being a foreign correspondent for CNN.

Event: Why #BlackLivesMatter: an MPC Workshop Exploring Anti-Blackness in the United States
Location: Petteruti Lounge
Time: 6:30 p.m.

The MPCs will explore the history and current condition of anti-Blackness in America. Food will be provided!

Wednesday, February 11:

Event: YOGA NIGHT: A Sophomore Slump Event

Does science increasingly point to God or to atheism? Come watch Hans Halvorson and David Rand hash out the two-sided “answer” to this age old question.

Event: The Illness of Gun Violence
Location: Barus and Holley 168
Time: 7:30 p.m.

Moral Voices, a student-run organization through Brown-RISD Hillel, will host a panel exploring the duality of mental illness associated with gun violence. On one hand, mental illness contributes to gun violence, while in turn, gun violence is a known cause of mental illness.

Thursday, February 12:

Event: Brown Entrepreneurship Program Presents Crushing on Pitchlet

Location: MacMillan 117

Time: 7 p.m.

Learn to express your ideas, captivate your audience and share in some laughs at a mock pitch competition. Food and prizes will be provided.

Friday, February 13:

Event: Reverse the Curse:  A Dance That Will Change Your Luck
