Event: Sex Week 2015

Sex Week is a week-long series of workshops (click the link for specific events) hosted by the Sexual Health Education and Empowerment Council (SHEEC). This year’s theme is “DV8,” and seeks to encourage students to expand their own expectations about sexuality.

Monday, March 16:

Event: Israeli Elections: An Open Discussion with BSI
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: JWW 303

Polls project a neck and neck race between Israel’s two major parties in the upcoming Knesset elections. The outcome will have a major effect on U.S.-Israeli relations and the peace process in general. Join Brown Students for Israel to discuss the possible results.

Tuesday, March 17:

Event: Get Lucky 2015!
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: List 120

Brown’s three all-female a cappella groups will be celebrating the start of Spring with a concert in List.

Wednesday, March 18:

Event: Thank You Sorry
Time: 11:15 p.m.
Location: PW Upspace

This black box theater performance is described as “a rock concert that’s also sort of a play that’s also sort of a ghost story.”

Event: Spring into Spring with CCB
Time: 12 p.m.
Location: Main Green

The class boards of 2016 and 2017 are welcoming the start of Spring with cookies, ice cream, and heavy petting.

Thursday, March 19: 

Event: Graphic Design Senior Show
Time: 6:00 p.m.
Location: Woods-Gerry House

RISD Campus Expositions is hosting an in-depth look at the step-by-step process of creating the magnificent book covers, logos, and posters that we see on a daily basis. Behind each piece is a excruciatingly tedious method, and they want to share theirs with you.
