Monday, November 30 

Event: Into the Grind(s)
Location: The Underground
Time: 5:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.

“Come sample coffee varieties from around the world and learn about different brewing techniques and blends in the Underground Coffee Co.” This event is totally free and will feature informational sessions on brewing techniques at 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, December 1

Event: UCS Open Forum
Location: Salomon 001
Time: 8:00 p.m.

The Undergraduate Council of Students will be moderating a forum on the Pathways to Diversity and Inclusion Plan. The event will include both an overview of the plan and a Q&A with the following administrators: Rick Locke, Maud Mandel, Liza Cariaga-Lo, Mary Grace Almandrez, & Janet Blume.

Wednesday, December 2

Event: In Transition: A Thayer Street Pop-Up Exhibition
Location: 271 Thayer Street (Where City Sports used to be)
Time: 2:00 p.m.

Come to the unveiling of this exhibition about Providence’s street art scene. Sponsored by Artbeat, this event will feature artists from the community.

Event: Computer Science Culture Town Hall
Location: CIT 3rd floor atrium
Time: 5:00 p.m.

Student groups WiCS and Mosaic+ will collaborate with CS Faculty in facilitating a discussion on the department’s culture. If there are any topics you would especially like to see discussed, you can submit your thoughts here.

Thursday, December 3

Event: Science Center Movie Night: Inside Out 
Location: Science Center (3rd floor Scili)
Time: 7:00 p.m.

Free popcorn and snacks will be provided at this free screening of Inside Out. You are never too old to skip your homework in the name of Pixar.

Event: Senior Night
Location: GCB
Time: 9:00 p.m. — 11:00 p.m.

Enjoy all the perks of being a senior before all the stress of finals. The GCB will have its usual Thursday specials along with free pizza.

Friday, December 4

Event: Yes, It’s A Race Thing: An MPC Workshop
Location: Leung Gallery
Time: 6:30 p.m.

This workshop with focus specifically on racism at Brown. All are encouraged to attend and pizza will be served.

Saturday, December 5

Event: RISD Holiday Art Sale
Location: Rhode Island Convention Center
Time: 10:00 a.m. — 5:00 p.m.

“The sale will feature over 200 RISD alumni and current student artists, who will be selling work in a variety of media, including fine art, glass, ceramics, apparel, jewelry, gifts and more.” See a full list of participating artists here. Admission is $8.

Sunday, December 6

Event: BMP Fall Premier
Location: Avon Cinema
Time: 6:00 p.m.
