#WatsonElection2016

If you are interested in the upcoming election, love discussing and debating politics or want to learn about current affairs from world-renowned experts — or all of the above, the Watson is the place for you! This semester, they’re holding a discussion series called “American Democracy: The Dangers and Opportunities of Right Here and Right Now!” It’s a historic election — be sure to take part and learn your stuff!

There’s an event THIS FRIDAY where David Corn will interview Michael Steele! There will be two other events later in the semester with Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post and Mara Liasson of National Public Radio!

Plus, discussions will take place at the Watson Institute every other Tuesday night between the weeks of Sept. 13 to Dec. 6, 2016, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

This series is sure to be a remarkable opportunity to learn more not only about the election but also about our country that you simply cannot let slip away.

Plus, on election night, the Watson will hold a watch party, so you can watch the results pour in with fellow Brown political junkies!

Correction: A previous version of this post stated that Glenn Kessler and Mara Liasson would be at the Watson event this Friday. In fact, they will be at separate events later this semester. Blog regrets the error.
