Raising a takeout box to transparency

Dinners stopping by the Ratty this evening were greeted with new, clear takeout boxes.

Could this be a permanent switch or did the weekend rush-to-soak-up-as-much-sun-as-possible cause a passing shortage? Either way, enjoy showing off your own Ratty Gourmet as you walk back to the SciLi.

A quiet revolution

The V-Dub hasn’t had a lot of press since going tray-less a few years back. Unlike its Main-Campus cousin, most don’t stop to ponder the dear old Dub’s history — or more recent  scandals. But the V-Dub has experienced a quiet revolution.

We all were a little disappointed when the new, clear Ratty cups were smaller than the old ones. We figured there was no other option. But we were wrong.

The new V-Dub cups look exactly like the Ratty’s — BUT BIGGER. And so, so much better. Never will we have to get up for a refill between chicken fingers five and six again.

And you might even be able to use them in Canada.

Ratty vs. V-Dub: 1/29/10

Lunch: V-Dub.

Chicken finger Friday + peanut butter and jelly bar = om nom nom.

Dinner: Ratty.

Onion rings with the crispy, golden breading that just can’t be found at Jo’s. We know you’re supposed to eat greasy food after you drink, but it can’t hurt to warm up.

Ratty vs. V-Dub: Thurs., Jan. 28

Lunch: V-Dub.

Peanut butter and jelly bar! And bacon ranch chicken sandwich?

Dinner: Ratty.

Pauly D would totally be all over the antipasto bar.
