A couple of auditions are either imminent or on the horizon in the world of Brown comedy:
1. “The Storm of Mystery,” a dinner theater murder mystery comedy play by Hallie Cantor and Jamie Brew. Think Clue, but on stage and a completely different plot. Auditions today 7-9 and tomorrow 7-9 in Wilson 206.
2. Sketch comedy group Starla and Sons. Auditions sometime in mid-March. Keep an eye out for more info.
The other performance groups that are part of the Brown Barrel alliance (Brown Stand Up Comics, IMPROVidence, and Out of Bounds) are overstocked with members right now and will be holding auditions in the fall. At that point, expect a much lengthier version of this post.
