BlogWeeklyJamz: “Gone with a touch of your hand”

Hip-Hop  Major Lazer – Watch Out For This (Bumaye)
My roommate says the genre of this song is “Bar Mitzvah Revivalism” and that is the most true and hilarious thing I’ve ever heard.  The above video is a promo for the upcoming album — Here’s the full song.

IndieYeah Yeah Yeahs – Sacrilege
I want to make out with her so badly.

Jam of the WeekAtoms for Peace – Ingenue
Well, damn. Thom Yorke never loses his totally weird, intriguing ridiculousness. And that dancer! Around 1:46 when she starts doing a modern dance Tai Chi… I die.

Electronic(ish)AlunaGeorge – Attracting Flies
Ok, this band is the problem with the indie music scene. I am obsessed with them. I post about them constantly. BUT THEIR ALBUM HASN’T EVEN COME OUT YET (estimated arrival: July 1). They have a rabid following but only have five songs. I can’t.

Pop – Little Boots – Motorway
Ah, yet another adorable pop-electro white-haired chick. (See: Ellie Goulding, Sky Ferreira.) Little Boots previously popped into people’s consciousnesses for her easily remixableEarthquake.

Cover/Mashup – The White Panda – Firefly
The Firefly Music Festival has an amazing lineup this year, though I probably won’t find myself in Dover mid-June. The Festival hired pros The White Panda to make a patchwork mashup of all the headliners, and the song above is their favorite segment of the full amalgamation.

Throwback – Brandy – The Boy is Mine
<3*The cathartic ending*<3
