Monday, October 26

Event: Active Minds’ Ben and Jerry’s Benefit Night
Time: 7:00 p.m. — 9:00 p.m.
Location: Ben and Jerry’s

A portion of all the proceeds will go to Active Minds, a student group that raises awareness of mental health and aims to destigmatize mental illness on campus and beyond. Plus, you get ice cream. Win win.

Tuesday, October 27

Event: The Mask You Live In screening
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Granoff Auditorium

Join IFF in a free screening of The Mask You Live Ina documentary that asks, “As a society, how are we failing our boys?” This film will cover questions of imposed masculinity and much more.

Wednesday, October 28

Event: Halloween on Wriston
Time: 2:00 p.m. –6:00 p.m.
Location: Wriston Quad

Elementary students from the community will be sporting their costumes early and trick or treating around Wriston. Join the Greek Council in welcoming them! It’s without competition for cutest yearly event on Wriston.

Event: Pumpkin-less Jack-O’-Lanterns
Time: 7:30 p.m. — 10:00 p.m.
Location: Sarah Doyle Women’s Center

Love Halloween, but also the environment? The Sarah Doyle Women’s Center will provide all the tools necessary to carve brown bags into spooooooooooky luminaries.


Friday, October 30

Event: Improvidence presents: The Baby Show
Time: 9:00 p.m.
Location: MacMillan 117

Improv comedians and general campus celebrities, Improvidence, just added six members to their group (or, is it troop?). For $1, you can see them in their first performance.

Saturday, October 31

Event: Costume Office Hours
Time: 12:00 p.m. –2:00 p.m.
Location: Wilson 106

If you want to win BlogDH’s costume contest, which you obviously do, and you have more creativity than Buzzfeed, which you hopefully do, get some extra help from Brown Costume Design Society before you sport your creation out around town.

Event: Campus Center Halloween Extravaganza
Time: 7:00 p.m. –9:00 p.m.
Location: Faunce

Free food, candy galore, move screenings, tarot card readers, face painting, roving magicians, a custom teddy bear-making station, a haunted corn maze, and more. Not to be missed!

Sunday, November 1

Event: Treat Yo’ Self
Time: 9:00 p.m. –11:00 p.m.
Location: Petteruti Lounge

Celebrating daylight savings time with,  “grilled cheese, cupcakes, hot chocolate, free massages from BURP, and more.” Pajamas encouraged. Sure, this event is thrown for the Class of 2019 by their Class Board, but we’re all freshmen at heart, right?
